Community Engagement, Program Funding:
Community Engagement is a strategically targeted approach to guide United Way of Midland to make meaningful and measurable improvements in the lives of people in our community. All program funding awarded through the Community Engagement - Program Funding process are three-year multi-year funding. Community Engagement outlines two funding strategies that help transform our community:
Program Funding Strategies:
-
Request for Continuation of Funding (RCF):
-
The RCF is available for organizations currently receiving program funding in the areas of Self-Sufficiency, 2-Gen: Education Success, and 2-Gen Social, Health, and Well-Being.
-
All recipients are required to complete the RCF. Applications are reviewed with consideration of prior and current funding levels.
-
Important: Allocations are not guaranteed and are subject to change based on campaign fund availability and panel evaluations.
-
-
Request for Proposal (RFP):
-
The United Way of Midland will not accept new applications for Program Funding for 2025.
-
This process assumes zero-based funding and all requests are reviewed competitively and without considerations to prior or current funding.
-
