About the Event:

The event will feature eight rounds of BINGO with multiple opportunities to win a designer bag, raffle for a high-end designer bag, shopping from locally owned businesses, dinner and desserts, and more. As we enjoy a night of fun and games, United Way will honor Deborah Markley with the 2024 Women's United award. 100% of the net proceeds from Power of the Purse go directly to United Way of Midland's Innovative Grants.

The Power of Your Purse:

Every Fall, United Way of Midland opens grant applications to local nonprofits for one-time funding for new or expanded programs and projects that help improve the health, education, and self-sufficiency of Midlanders. Since 2013, United Way of Midland volunteers have awarded over $600,000 to help strengthen our community through projects such as:

  • Student transportation for Basin Dream Center for Orphans
  • Expansion of the VITA and Financial Literacy Program at Casa De Amigos
  • Funding Coaching Services through Tenacious Woman Ministries

Event Details:

  • Tickets include dinner/dessert, drink tickets + bingo card(s)

  • 2024 Women's United Award Presentation
  • Due to alcohol consumption and Texas gambling laws, participants must be 21+

  • Presenting Sponsor ($7,500): Includes table of 10 with logo display, dinner + 20 drink tickets, 10 high end purse raffle tickets, 20 bingo cards, VIP gift bag, verbal recognition during event, logo recognition on all event-related materials.
  • Platinum Sponsor ($5,000): Includes table of 8 with logo display, dinner + 16 drink tickets, 16 bingo cards, gift bag for each attendee, verbal recognition during event, logo recognition on all event-related materials.
  • Gold Sponsor ($2,500): Includes table of 8 with logo display, dinner + 16 drink tickets, 8 bingo cards, verbal recognition during event, logo recognition on all event-related materials.
  • Silver Sponsor ($1,000): Includes seating for 4, dinner + 8 drink tickets, 4 bingo cards, verbal recognition during event, logo recognition on all event-related materials.
