On Tuesday, May 5th - United Way of Midland introduced Kari Hennagin as the President and CEO for the United Way of Midland, where she will oversee United Way programs and services for over 175,000 people in Midland County.

"Kari comes to us with almost 20 years' experience working in the non-profit sector and has demonstrated her exceptional leadership capabilities and her dedications to buidling strong relationships with volunteers and community partners. We can't wait to see what she accomplishes here."
Hannagin has served in the non-profit community in various roles including major gifts officer and executive director in Florida, Alabama and most recenetly, served as the executive director of the Red Cross in the Texas Big Country in Abilene, Texas overseeing 38 counties. Over the course of her career, Hennagin has worked with several nonprofit organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Women's Domestic Abuse Shelter and she helped start the Boys and Girls Club in Atlanta, Texas. "I am thrilled to be in Midland am excited to serve the United Way of Midland," Hennagin said.
"During my time of employment in the non-profit sector, I have been privileged to work with incredible volunteers, board members, donors and community partners. I know the United Way will be no different. Working together, I'm eager to jump in and serve this community."
